The company owns all of its own equipment and runs its own crews; including rough and finish carpentry crews, a concrete crew, and masonry crew. In addition, HCI has its own millwork shop. HCI is currently a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). We are currently working on over $20 million worth of projects which are going to be LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. Additionally, HCI has a memberrnon staff in the process of becoming a LEED Accredited Professional. HCI believes that in our situation today, Sustainability is more important than ever. There are several reasons for this: our damaged environment, rising energy costs, and quality of construction which we can be confident in passing on to our future generations.rn Realizing these pressing issues, HCI has implemented an initiative called HCI Sustainability.
